Nick Diaz just signed with Elite XC (viewed 1,308 times)
Have you heard?
I have to say that I'm so happy that Nick signed this deal, for both: Nick and Elite XC. As Elite XC moves forward adding great fighters to their fighter pool they gain power and momentum. I like the fact that Elite XC is not stopping, moving forward with great steadfastness will bring them far...
Recently Nick was in a Pro Elite forum: (http://www.proelite.com/forums/12345/topics/29852/) He was actually really nice and down to earth as well as honest. He was so nice he stayed for hours replying to all questions he got!. I was amazed at this as most people think he has an attitude, and maybe he does, but he was right there with the fans. Other fighters have stayed for so much shorter. It was a great forum. He was asked about what thought in regards to Elite XC:

[...] I'm worried that ELITEXC doesnt have enough fighters that are on your level to keep you on top of your game . Also In an interview with Dana White (MMANEWS.COM) , he was asked if Nick Diaz would be back in the UFC and he said that you were to hard to work with . What are your thought on the talent of the ELITEXC and on Dana White's comments?
NICK: I think there's plenty of talent in EliteXC, but I dunno about what Dana White has to say. I think what's important are the fighters, and since there's decent fighters in the event I don't think anyone should worry about EliteXC.
When asked, Nick said that he would fight whomever he's asked to fight with, in any weight class, to quote him:
"I'll fight at 155, 160, 170, 185. It doesn't matter what weight. Its easier for me to go up than down. I'll fight whoever they want me to fight or whoever my manager/coach tells me to fight."
Possibly Shamrock but never his brother -someone did ask him about it! He mentioned that at his weight class (170lbs.) his personal top 5 to fight up against would be "Matt Serra, Georges St. Pierre, Matt Hughes, Jake Shields and Josh Koscheck." - maybe Elite XC will pair him with Jake Shields? Or what about Robbie Lawler? Some people would like to see this re-match, but he also stated that "rematches are a little over rated."
In any case I really like him and even more the fact that he's in Elite XC, i like that he's into healthy eating habits, organic and green stuff and CHOCOLATE!
So attitude or not props to Nick and Urrah for Elite XC!
"People think I have an attitude and because of that they don't like me. People also don't know what's going on with the sport, and then they try to make decisions like they know. Even though we're all still learning. Even the people who fight. People can act like freaks and geeks, but when I'm the mean guy I'm doing something wrong. Everybody else is acting. What if I was too? It's all the marketing image."
